Why I Do What I Do
I am an accomplished divorce/family/domestic relations mediator who has been awarded Jefferson County Mediation Services Divorce (Family) Mediator of the Year in 2014 - 2016. I have been a mentor to many mediators in the field and is not adverse to learning new strategies to assist people in crisis. Having helped diffuse the conflict and get people headed to resolution is very rewarding. Fortunately, I have been doing this for years.
As a child, I witnessed my father alienate my mother during their malicious court divorce. I was a young boy caught in the middle of a toxic situation. This adverse experience prompted me to advocate for children in the divorce scenario. I recognize that the mediation process is swifter and produces significantly less animosity between parties compared to litigated divorce. The result is happier, less stressed children. As a mediator, I demonstrate skill in leading divorcing parties to negotiate sensibly with the best interests of their children in mind.
In addition, I am also am a Parenting Coordinator/Decision Maker (PC/DM) and Parenting Time Supervisor.
The rate for mediation is $180 an hour, usually divisible by two. $180 deposit each.
